ojo : rain

Invoking the Yoruba word for rain, ojo, as a means of linking modern ceremonial practices to ancestral lineages. ojo : rain is a performance exploring humanity's responsibility and interdependence with the natural world. As a response to decades long, and increasing drought in California, ojo : rain explores climate change as a spiritual imbalance which intention and gesture can begin to transform.
